With new tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, plus world-class fitness facilities, the resort is setting a new benchmark for active luxury hospitality in the Mediterranean.
Starting in 2026, Kalimera Kriti will unveil the Patricio World-Class Racket & Sports Club — a cutting-edge complex featuring 35 courts (26 tennis, 5 padel, and 4 pickleball), a Fitness First indoor and outdoor studio, and the brand-new Fitness First Colosseum, designed as the ultimate venue for international fitness events.
Developed in collaboration with Patricio Travel, Europe’s leading sports travel company, this expansion marks a major milestone for Greece’s sports tourism landscape, attracting athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and leisure travelers alike who seek both performance and relaxation in an inspiring coastal setting.
Before the new facilities debut, Kalimera Kriti will host the ITF Kalimera Kriti Open in October 2025, welcoming senior players from around the world for an exciting international tennis competition on Crete’s stunning shores.
In addition, the resort will become a key venue for major international fitness events organized by Patricio Travel and Fitness First, including the HYROX Week by Fitness First 2026 and the Les Mills Week by Fitness First. These high-energy events will bring together global communities of athletes, instructors, and fitness lovers to train, connect, and celebrate wellness in an exceptional environment.
